I don’t really have an in-depth comment on videos like this anymore. Moments like these are a dime-a-dozen for this administration, so this is basically business as usual. It’s almost sad and funny at the same time. On one hand it’s kinda hilarious to watch someone meander through their responses like a blind kid struggling to get through a dense forest, but on the other it’s pretty sad to watch someone completely make an ass out of themselves publicly.

Still, it’s more funny than sad.

The guy in the video is Tom Perriello, Democrat, who is doing a pretty good job of explaining how the politicians in the federal government are continuously “putting their hands in teh cookie jar”. In a nut shell is is basically saying that unless there was some law forcing congress to balance the budget, or some other law which prohibited their runaway spending, they will just keep on spending and spending. Which, he points out at the end of the video, they’ll just keep stealing your money in order to do it.

It is an absolute shock to me that when politicians make statements like this that people don’t just demand that these people immediately step down. Then again, the majority of people who vote today must be on Thorazine or something because they continuously vote in the most moronic people ever.

Don’t even try to argue. If that wasn’t the case then Dennis Kucinich wouldn’t still be in office.

This is a statement I have had to use often, but every time I use it people seem to think that I am somehow heartless or unsympathetic. This is usually uttered in response to someone debating me on the current state of affairs regarding Healthcare, but the reactions from it are always the same from the same kind of people. You know who these people are. They never take responsibility for anything. Their actions, lifestyles, decisions, opinions, successes and, ultimately, their failures are never formed from anything they did or didn’t do. No, of course not. They are formed by everyone else around them.

That way they can’t ever take the blame for anything.

The most current, popular thing that people are refusing to take responsibility for is their own Healthcare. This is a typical conversation concerning this issue:

Me: I really do not agree with this nationalized healthcare plan.
Moocher: Oh, yes, heaven forbid we stop people from dying in the street.
Me: Who is dying in the street?
Moocher: Why do you want people to die?
Me: Who is dying?
Moocher: Healthcare is a right. That’s just common sense.
Me: You didn’t answer my question.
Moocher: Republicans are such hypocrites. Conservatives are destroying this country, and you’re just letting people lose their healthcare and die.
Me: Who died? Who is dying? Who lost their healthcare?
Moocher: Healthcare is a right. You just need to face it.
Me: You keep saying that, but you haven’t told me why it is a right.
Moocher: Because. People can’t pay for it.
Me: Ok?
Moocher: If they can’t pay for it then they don’t get it.
Me: So….because they can’t pay for it…..we should give it to them anyways?
Moocher: It’s a right. It’s the right thing to do.
Me: But they still can’t pay for it.
Moocher: It’s a RIGHT! A RIGHT! They should just get it!
Me: Who is going to pay for it?
Moocher: What do you mean?
Me: Well, it’s still not going to be free. Who is going to pay for it.
Moocher: We’ll take the money from the rich people.
Me:  You’re just going to take it?
Moocher: We’ll tax them! They have plenty of money. They wont miss it.
Me: But it’s their money. It’s not yours.
Moocher: Healthcare is a right. Someone has to pay for it.
Me: Why cant you just pay for it yourself?
Moocher: Because! It’s a right!
Me: So…you’re basically going to just take money from someone else….and give it to someone else?
Moocher: No, we’ll just tax the money from them and the government will provide healthcare.
Me: So, the government will take the money from the rich people in order to give someTHING to someone else?
Moocher: Yes.
Me: But….it’s still not the governments money.
Moocher: ITS A RIGHT
Me: So, you take money from the rich (who you claim doesn’t need it) and then you convert that in to something else that you can give to the poor…who cant pay for it?
Moocher: Yes.
Me: But that’s Socialis-
Moocher: GAWD! THERE YOU GO USING THAT WORD AGAIN. YOU’RE STUPID. IT’S NOT SOCIALISM. GAWD.
Me: But you’re taking away from one to give to another using the government as a means to do so.
Moocher: So?
Me: That’s Socialis-
Moocher: GAWD! I CANT TALK ANYMORE. I’M LEAVING.

See what i’m saying? In that illustration the moocher (and that would be anyone trying to live off of someone else’s hard work) refuses to allow him/herself to take responsibility for anything in their lives…….even their own health. Why do they do this? Well, it’s called a “sense of entitlement”, and the people who grow up with this erroneous belief system have somehow convinced themselves that this world owes them something. I guess that just because they exist they simply believe that they have the right to steal monetary funds from other people to ensure that they continue existing.

Where did this originate from? Well, In America it could possibly be related back to FDR. He had initially wanted to create a second bill of rights that had stated that everyone had a right to a house, a car, land, a doctor, etc etc etc. These measures were utterly defeated the moment he had devised them, but that didn’t stop the progressives from latching on to those ideas for decades to come. However, even back then it was just a derivative from the main source of material.

Marxism.

Marxism, or communism, seems to hinge on the system of belief that a utopia can be established within a community by somehow balancing resources between its citizens. What that means is that everyone gets the same thing. Everyone has a house, a car, a bit of land, etc etc etc. However, the system is required to be heavily regulated by a central planning body because people seem to have the strange characteristic of being ambitious. Humans want more and they want to have bigger and better things for themselves, so the central planning body is there to remind these people that they cannot have more. They can only have what is fair.

The problem with that ideology is that it is based around unfairness. It requires that a government body cage and maintain the people like cattle so that they never stray from their regulated and pre-determined lifestyles. Doing so might infringe on someone else and therefore it must be regulated and controlled even further. Even if that regulation means imprisonment and/or punishment to properly re-educate the individual. Some people, ignorantly, have tried to claim that Marxism/Communism/Socialism are somehow better ways of life, but exactly how is placing constraints upon a nations citizens considered better? Well, they are the elite! The brightest and smartest! they have convinced themselves that they know what is best for everyone and therefore they shall implement their central plans to show everyone just how better it will be if they’ll just give over one little bit of freedom at a time. All in the name of fairness! Community! Ah, for the greater good? Well, if these people are so damned smart then why haven’t they ever succeeded in these endeavors?

Well, generally, these plans tend to have the nasty side effect of corruption and, eventually, death. Why? Because the central body must execute force in order to further make sure that all of their programs are followed. It’s why the Soviet Union was such an abject failure. It became so riddled with corruption and living had become so miserable that the entire nation eventually fell in to deep poverty and debt (due to the government spending money on everyone and everything) that it just fell apart. And when it did? People didn’t cry about it. No, people fled the nation because they wanted to move away from that oppressive control of the central government.

Now, granted, America is a long way off from becoming like the USSR but we can already see in this current administration that they have already begun to attack the very same enemy as the communist parties had. Who is this enemy?

The Individual.

Socialists/Communists hate individualism. Why? Because they hate the freedoms that being an individual supplies. The individual is free to become wealthy, successful, proud, and comfortable in his/her life. As long as they work hard and make proper decisions they can have a big house, a nice car, afford a good doctor, and own a pretty big size of land. To the communist? This is treachery. They view the rich and powerful as evil and monstrous people who have somehow stolen from the “unfortunate”. This is why the healthcare debate is so heated among the two parties and why many of the citizens cry “socialism” when they see the healthcare reform being debated. It seeks to rob the individual of its freedoms so that it might drag them in to a bigger, and more regulated, community. The left would rather see a community wallow together in its own mediocrity rather than see one individual thrive alone.

Why? Because they believe in shared responsibility. They believe that people whom they have never met, and will never meet, are somehow responsible for their wellbeing. Why? Well, someone has to do it! Duh! Did you expect the left to take care of themselves? HAHAHA. That is a hilarious joke. The left, who has an excuse for every reason they do what they do, be it “genetics” or “environment”, they cannot grasp that they must live their lives alone and without the help of others.

Does this all seem harsh? It probably is. Do I care if you think so? Not really. Why?

You are not my responsibility, so why do you think that you are?

PS. You know why there are kitteh pictures in this extremely serious post? Because half of you probably have the attention span of a box and you needed something to keep you entertained. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

A lot of the House Democrats that are holding out on the Health Care Reform bill are doing so because a lot of them fear the CBO score. The magic number is “One Trillion” and they believe that if the CBO scores the bill higher than that then voting FOR the measure will be political suicide. In all honesty, voting for the measure will be disastrous for many of them because the American public are so overwhelming opposed to this Health Care measure that regardless of what the cost will be they’ll most likely be voted out of office this coming November.

However, I am sure that the CBO score will calm a few of the nervous ones for a little while….or will it? As Ed Morrissey  states over at Hot Air the CBO hasn’t actually reported it’s score yet.

So, where did the wires come up with the number? Why, the House Democrat Leadership! In all honesty the actual CBO number, which we have not seen or heard yet, could actually be something better or worse for the Dems. However, my gut is telling me no matter what the CBO says that this abomination will end up costing far more than they’ve guesstimated. So, if this thing passes….what will our future be?

Long Lines, Sub-par care, bureaucratic officials approving and disapproving procedures and care because of cost, Higher taxes, and the harrowing knowledge that once this terrible system is implemented then it will never ever be repealed.

Why? Because that’s how entitlement programs work. The lazy and worthless drag the successful and autonomous down with them in to the muck of mediocrity, and that is where we will stay in the name of fairness.

I’m fairly certain that a measure this big (it will effectively move almost 20% of the private economy over under government control) needs a little more than the “deem & pass” trick that the democrats are trying to push. Another point that President Obama is just plain wrong on is his statements that the people outside of Washington don’t care about the process. That statement is not only wrong but it’s also disingenuous because he KNOWS that the people are engaged and they care a whole hell of a lot about the process. The truth of the matter is that the Democrats and the President do not care what the people think.

If they did? Then we wouldn’t be seeing this monstrosity of a bill being used to drag the American people, kicking and screaming, over in to more nationalized entitlements.

E! News has obtained a copy of the script forTiger’s Wood, which bills itself as the “official porn parody” of the non-golf exploits of the sports icon. The script riffs on the story and (presumably) makes up stuff where it might make things spicier.

This roller-coaster of a scandal just started, it’s over the first hill, but there’s no sign of this ride stopping any time soon. At this point I think it’s time to start thinking about “Life Caddies” for celebrities or just for generally stupid people. Just some guy/girl to stand by and warn people at the right moments to keep them from screwing up their lives beyond repair.

• Animal Tamer gets harrowing reminder that Tigers will EAT YOU no matter how much you train them otherwise.
• Also, Pit Bulls are Satan’s Hell-hounds and they will also eat you as this animal control officer found out.
• Also, Obama skipped out on a bunch of events that were to be held honoring him getting the Nobel Peace Prize. The Norwegians were pretty miffed so they just replaced him with a cardboard cutout.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I like the Xbox 360 and I actually enjoy the Halo series, but considering the ho-hum reception for Halo Wars and ODST I’m not really seeing it yet. Now, were Wars and ODST great games? Yup. Did they break giant sales records like previous Halo chapters? No, they didn’t. Gamers are shifty group of people and one can only hold their attention for so long and, as many developers have found in the past, you can only make so many iterations of a certain IP before you start heading over in to “kart” territory.

Seriously, if they keep going we could be seeing “Dance Dance Halo” and lets all be honest….nobody wants that.

However, regardless of all of this Greenberg still likes to puff it up to the max:

“Is it launching next year?” he mused. “I’ve seen years and years of minigames, but I haven’t seen that the game is done. They just released the PSP version — maybe that’s what they’ve been working on. I feel confident that there’s nothing that will compare in size. Halo: Reach will be the biggest game of 2010.”

Wow, really? I know that PR guys are supposed to be all snarky and edgy when it comes to defending their platform, but damn man. Oh, it doesn’t end there though:

Sure, I suppose if you want to idolize a man who seems to haven’t made any accomplishments in his life before or after his moment of being elected President, then whatever. I suppose he has shown Indonesia you can win a Nobel Peace Prize by doing nothing absolutely nothing at all.
