Obama Exiles the Non-Believers

October 31, 2008 Aurvant Leave a comment

If you don’t worship “The One” then your not allowed in his presence.

The NY POST, WASHINGTON TIMES and DALLAS MORNING NEWS have all been told to move out by Sunday to make room for network bigwigs -- and possibly for the inclusion of reporters from two black magazines, ESSENCE and JET, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned

I guess that it’s just a coincidence that all three of those newspapers all endorsed John McCain for President? Yeah, I’m sure it was all just a big coinkidink. Drudge goes on to say that the reason why they’ve been cut out is because Obama is bringing on documentary film-makers to record the final stretch of Obama’s campaign. Still, how strange that the very same newspapers were booted were the ones that didn’t endorse the will of The Anointed One.

Erica Jong is @&$!ing Crazy! Claims Obama loss will spark second American Civil War.

Ok, through the course of this election process we have seen and heard some pretty crazy stuff. You had Ron Paul yelling about Trilateralists and how the Fed was some type of shadow cabinet that was running the world. Then you have Mike Gravel burning stuff in the woods and throwing rocks in to lakes after staring very errily in to the camera.

We’ve seen people storm rallies and conventions while flailing about like crazy people and trying to disrupt anything. Hell, we saw riot police being called in to run off protesters during the Republican National Convention because acts of vandalism were being committed all around the area. Well, five days before the election and it would seem that all of the crazies had fallen back in to their caves and would disappear from sight until the next election.

Then Erica Jong showed up and blew the lid off of stone cold crazy.

How crazy you ask? Well, here’s the prime-time quote:

If Obama loses it will spark the second American Civil War. Blood will run in the streets, believe me. And it’s not a coincidence that President Bush recalled soldiers from Iraq for Dick Cheney to lead against American citizens in the streets.”

Stone. Cold. Crazy.

Where in the hell do these people come from? How are they not locked up in an asylum for being just so ridiculously insane? Well, she is friends with Jane Fonda who isn’t exactly a shining beacon of sound mind to begin with, but this is just shocking. I don’t even think that the 9/11 truther whack-jobs are this crazy and they come up with some pretty wild shit.

Anyways, that’s just a little bit of a look in to just how far gone the Left is.

Matthews Mocks Palin for God comments in Speech

Matthews obviously thinks he’s being cute here, but he only manages to come out looking like a giant flaming douche. The problem that Matthews, and snarky, bitchy guest Joan Walsh, don’t understand is that most people in America actually DO believe that God has blessed this country with many resources that have helped us become such a wonderful nation.

Here’s Matthews particularly ugly comment:

I’m just curious about how these — I know Joan you’re giggling because you wonder how all these things work together in this ideological symmetry. You have a religious belief that goes in one direction, and your politics goes in the same direction.  I just wonder whether anybody ever compares notes in these two categories. Like oil was put here as a blessed event, but maybe it was put here millions of years ago, and if so, let’s reconsider some of our literary interpretations these days. Go ahead.

He really is a first-class douche isn’t he? Heaven forbid that someone believe that a Supreme God somehow blessed this world with resources that we might use and better our lives.

Seriously, Matt, go back to drooling over your Obama ads and leave the intellectual and philosophical topics to people who actually have a clue to whats going on around them.

The New Obamanation National Anthem?

Haha. Glenn Beck is awesome.

Considering Obama’s views on “Wealth redistribution” and “economic justice” I don’t see that anthem being too far off the mark.

Atheists attack God. Everyone laughs at Atheists.

October 23, 2008 Aurvant 1 comment

Seriously, this is so bad it’s hilarious

Some Atheists in Britain got their undies up in a bunch and how they’ve decided to spend money making themselves look like total douchebags. Good going.

The sides of some of London’s red buses will soon carry ads asserting there is “probably no God,” as nonbelievers fight what they say is the preferential treatment given to religion in British society.

“Oh Lord, Make my enemies ridiculous”

The ad campaign is obviously meant to enrage and insult anyone who considers themselves a believer. However, it would seem that it has had the opposite effect with sitting members of many religions.

Few believers appeared offended by the campaign, although most doubted it would work.

“I think people will ask themselves, ‘On what basis can they make that statement?” said Inayat Bunglawala of the Muslim Council of Britain. “So it will get people thinking, so in that sense it can only be good.”

The Muslim’s aren’t offended.

The Rev. Jenny Ellis, spirituality and discipleship officer for the Methodist Church, welcomed the ads.

“This campaign will be a good thing if it gets people to engage with the deepest questions of life,” she said.

The Christians aren’t offended either.

Looks like nobody is offended except for other atheists, and that one atheist would, predictably, be Richard Dawkins who wrote the “The God Delusion”. Dawkins claims that they ads will “provoke thought” and that thinking is “Anathema to religion”. Uh, no, Dick, its not. Viciously attacking a person because they have faith, writing books and making public statements that God is an imaginary figure, and claiming that religion is a disease counts as Anathema.

However, questions and deep thinking is NOT anathema.

While Dawkins seems to support the ad campaign he does complain that the ads include the word “probably” in their signs. Obviously Dawkins wanted a more direct and blunt message along the lines of “There is definitely no God” but since neither science nor any amount of outside-the-box thinking can prove that I suppose he’ll just have to deal with it.

Climate Change – Like a freight train!

October 23, 2008 Aurvant Leave a comment

Seriously, Climate Change is getting a Six million dollar man upgrade.

The World Wildlife Fund, obviously not happy with the lack of news regarding anything to do with Climate Change, has decided to ring the doom bells once again to let everyone else know that Global Warming is still out there and lurking. One bit of information they bring up is interesting however:

One of the most concerning aspects of recent data is evidence that, in some places, the Arctic Ocean is losing sea ice 30 years ahead of current IPCC predictions.

Summer sea ice is now forecasted to completely disappear in the summer months sometime between 2013 and 2040 — something which hasn’t happened for over a million years.

Oh really? The Arctic ice is melting some 30 years ahead of current predictions? Well, World Wildlife Fund, actual empirical data would like to have a word with you.

Watts has a lot of scientific language on the site regarding the actual evidence. However, to put it in simple terms the Arctic Ice has grown by 28.7% compared to what we had last year and we are now above the levels we had in 2005. The good news? It’s still growing and the Artic ice is reforming and growing every day. Obviously, someone is either lying or just hasn’t done their homework on what is actually happening in the Arctic ocean, but considering Watts actually gives data to back up their claims….I’m gonna have to go ahead and say that CNN and the World Wildlife Fund are just trying to peddle off more Global Warming alarmism to keep pushing that agenda forward.

Nothing out of the ordinary really.
