Awww. Well, at least she’s pretty right?

August 27, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Cause she is totally lacking in the brain department.

What the hell do you say to that? I’ve heard of people choking under pressure and saying some really off the wall stuff but i’m actually surprised that Mario Lopez didn’t just ask her to leave the stage right then.

Oh, she’s also the product of a public (read:Government) school. Yay for the education system!

News – Obamamessiah invokes wrong parable. Now with bonus prophetic video!

August 27, 2007 Aurvant 1 comment

Bryan commented on it first but I got something to say too.

It’s obvious to anyone familiar to the parable that Obama really stepped in it here. He tried to omit the part where the parable talks about the “house built on sand” but Bryan does a good job of filling in the gap for Obama. He also does a darn good job of pointing out that New Orleans (the biggest ****hole in America) was literally built on a shifting base that would eventually swallow it anyways. The Levee problems began long before the BOOOSH! administration took office and the infrastructure of Louisiana was already in poor shape before Katrina hit.

The storm uncovered the problems with that state and city, but the left tried to spin it to be Bush’s fault. The left claims that Bush didn’t act quick enough with the National Guard. Well, funny thing is that there is a law that forbids the president from making an action like “sending in the National Guard”. It’s the states responsibility and the Governer/Mayer/state officials all dropped the ball on trying to save those people.

Not to mention the Governer blocked Red Cross from giving supplies to the people in the Super Dome.

Who’s to blame here? Obviously the state and those people still trying to rebuild that fallen castle built of sand.

Here’s the bonus video that uses Zeppelin’s song “When the Levee Breaks” over a montage of picture. The people in the comments try to spin the video as an American Hating Forum (and the creator might have meant to do so as well) BUT! the pictures illustrate the corruption and decadence that came after the storm had hit.

Not to mention they have a picture that shows about a hundred school buses that could have been used to flee the city. Guess what! They were all underwater.

I guess Zeppelin was warning about things such as this back in the 70’s. Did no one from the infrastructure or core of engineers in Louisiana hear this song?

Military Analyst uses “absolute moral authority” to try and smear Bush

August 27, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Not surprising considering it IS MSNBC that he works for.

He goes on a completely biased, one page rant about how Bush, using the example of Vietnam, fabricated history by claiming that the deaths in Cambodia were a result of the pullout in Vietnam.

Among other things, he suggested that the proximate cause of the genocide in Cambodia was our withdrawal from Vietnam. Absolute nonsense. The Khmer Rouge’s murderous regime established itself long before the American combat presence in Vietnam ended.

Sure did bud, but without us there who was going to stop them? Yeah, nobody. So back up and punt there army boy.

So, Bush’s speech is infuriating: his argument that we should not abandon Iraq precipitously is fundamentally a good one, but he undermines a militarily sound course of action with specious nonsense that is demonstrably false, easily refuted by any sentient being with a passing knowledge or understanding of recent history.

Actually you both are kinda false. The Vietnamese government fell two years later but historians have constantly asserted that the reason for this was because they had NO SUPPORT in trying to stabilize what had become a very unstable region. Americans pulled out of Vietnam, not because we couldn’t win it, but because Congress and the politicians couldn’t run the war. They have tried to run the Iraqi War, and like Vietnam, their interference has caused a huge problem on the battlefield.

Do you think that if the USA left Iraq that the government would crumble in a day? Highly doubtful…it would probably take about a year or more before it finally lost control of all of it’s regions. Probably following the same timeline that the Vietnamese government took when they eventually fell out of power.

Oh, check out the italicized text below the story. They drag out the analysts war record just so you know that “he knows what hes talking about”. Another example of the Sheehan/Cleland absolute moral authority BS that the MSM likes to throw around.

Politics – Clinton says new attack would help GOP?

August 27, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

The hell?

She says she is the Democrat best equipped to fight terrorists, but White House hopeful Sen. Hillary Clinton told New Hampshire voters Thursday that another attack on the United States would likely help Republican candidates at the polls

“It’s a horrible prospect to ask yourself, ‘What if? What if?’ ” Clinton, a New York Democrat, told a house party in Concord, according to the New York Post and The Associated Press and confirmed by her campaign.

Chris Dodd says that was a tasteless remark. I would have to agree, and I should also point out that this is the first time I’ve ever agreed with anything Dodd has said. Good going Chris.

Even Bill Richardson got in on the act of telling Clinton that her asinine remark was totally uncalled for and completely out of line:

“We shouldn’t be thinking about terrorism in terms of its domestic political consequences, we should be protecting the country from terrorists,” said Gov Richardson in a written statement

Your right Bill, but your talking about “The Clintons” there isn’t anything that those two people “won’t” do to achieve political power. They will say anything about anyone at any time if they believe that it will benefit them in receiving the political clout that they think they deserve. Dangerous people these Clinton’s be.

She’s trying to position herself in a place where she seems tough on terrorism while trying to coincide the term “terrorism” with the term “Republican”. Her words weren’t meant to really show her own strengths but instead try to put the notion in to the publics mind that the republicans would benefit from a terrorist attack. She’s labeling her opponents and then lumping them in the the American enemy. Some of that notorious Saul Alinski training she received in her college years I assume.

Hillary is a dangerous person and this comment illustrates the depth in which she will travel to achieve what she wants.

Weird – Murderous wife claims cheating husband walked in to knife.

August 27, 2007 Aurvant 1 comment

I guess that makes sense….doesn’t it?

Kinda like having sex “on accident” or something like that. Could be true you know! A friend of mine said that accidental sex was like falling in to a hole: “Trip, fall, all your clothes fly off, BAM!” your done. So, I imagine that the husband did something similar but instead of running from his crazed wife with a knife he walked towards her and got stabbed.

Bwuh?

The whole thing was a big mess. The wife says a bunch of things to the officers like “He hurt my heart and I wanted to make him feel the same pain.” or “I stabbed him”

I figured that last statement would have sealed the deal, but nooooo she then claims that she was acting in self-defense and that she held out the knife in front of her and he lunged at her and it just so happened to get him in the heart. Almost believable except at the crime scene she never once said anything about her feeling threatened by her husband. In fact, the police said she showed no emotion whatsoever. Hmmmm….

Think thats messed up? The defense tried to spin it so that they made it seem that the cheatin’ husband stabbed himself. Needless to say that the defense’s part didn’t work well at first, but it did manage to sway a few of the jurors. After the whole bru-hah-hah was over with the wife was left to deal with one of two possible charges. Second degree murder, or voluntary manslaughter.

She got manslaughter and only three months in jail. Set free and released after the whole ordeal was over with. Yet another example of murder being let off the hook. I can’t say much more of that because the woman was convicted of -a crime- and she did so -some time- However, as dateline had shown, she got the lesser of two judgements and the one she didn’t get was the one that actually fit the crime.

Our illustrious justice system. It works….sometimes. just not this time.

A new website! – The Daily Jalapeno

The Daily Jalapeno

It’s new and I would like to help RightWingDuck promote it. He says it’s “Not funnier than The Onion, but it’s definitely HOTTER!” and so far it’s looking that way. I like spices and junk so “teh funnieh” mixed with some hotness is right up my alley.

Humor with a “kick” I should say.

He’s from IMAO so click and give RightWingDuck some new hits for me.

News – Gonzales Resigns : Update – Chertoff replaces him?

August 27, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

I’m back from a vacation weekend and s**t is already hitting the fan.

I honestly can’t blame the guy for quitting. You have every media outlet hounding you at every turn about what you may or may not have done and your boss (Mr. President) won’t stand up against the critics in the way that you would have liked. I would have quit long before Gonzales did, but then again I would have also given every one of those interrogators at the conferences and meetings the finger for drudging up fake crimes like they’ve done.

The embattled chief law enforcement officer in the U.S. had been besieged by attacks on his credibility and capability over his handling of the firing of at least eight U.S. prosecutors last year and for statements he made to Congress about the debate over the legality of National Security Agency surveillance programs.

Gonzales gave President Bush his resignation on Friday, who grudgingly accepted it. The president is currently at his ranch in Texas but is traveling to New Mexico, Washington and Nevada on Monday. Gonzales is one of the last members of the administration still around who had been with the president since before Bush was elected governor of Texas in 1994

Whatever Gonzales does from here is his own business and perhaps he can finally get some rest from the constant stream of attacks that the left has thrown at him. Regardless of what he does or what happens to him lets just go ahead and remember one single detail: “Those attorneys who were fired were fired legally. They serve at the pleasure of the President and can be fired for any reason at any time. No crime was committed“.

I don’t know why the President or some other member of his staff didn’t just come out and say that exact sentence but they didn’t and now they’ve been given the run around by the MSM and the liberal left.

Sad to see the guy go. He fought it out as long as he could, but with all of the pressure that the left puts on people these days it must just come down to the decision of whether you try and fight or you crumble under pressure. Sadly, the Bush administration has done nothing but crumble under the constant pressure of fake allegations made by the leftist crowd.

Hopefully his replacement will know how to stick it to the press when they start running that mouth again.

UPDATE: HotAir says they think that Chertoff will replace him.

I don’t know if thats a good or a bad thing, but i’m pretty much leaning in the direction of it being a “bad” idea. I never really did care for Chertoff especially and this news is kinda crappy. I was hoping they would pick someone that would be better suited to fill the role but I question this decision. I think that I won’t be getting my wish of having a tough personality in the Bush Administration any time soon.
