I’m a fan of Frank and a fan of comedy. I also despise obesity and the excuses and blameshifting that comes along with the political aspects of it. I especially hate the use of childhood obesity in the political spectrum because they use the “think of the children” argument to try and get rid of the good parts of food.
Like trans-fats. Disagree all you want but that stuff MADE kentucky fried chicken. Made them lords of the deep fry.

This reminds me alot of my youth.
Mainly because when I was born there was still a Cold War and the USSR was still around. I remember the Wall and I remember the day when the Iron Curtain fell. I remember the days when the Kremlin would boast about how mighty and powerful they were and they would do all sorts of things to flex their muscles to everyone. Well, as I had always feared, Putin is reviving the Cold War status of the nation.
Vladimir Putin announced ambitious plans to revive Russia’s military power and restore its role as the world’s leading producer of military aircraft yesterday.
Speaking at the opening of the largest airshow in Russia’s post-Soviet history, the president said he was determined to make aircraft manufacture a national priority after decades of lagging behind the west.
The remarks follow his decision last week to resume long-range missions by strategic bomber aircraft capable of hitting the US with nuclear weapons. Patrols over the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic began last week for the first time since 1992.
Ya know, Putin goes out and says this but it seems to me that nobody is really listening to him. Russia has been building itself up slowly and it’s just now starting to show itself again thanks to the worlds attention always drawn towards China and the Middle East. What is Putin’s excuse for pulling bold and ballsy moves like this?
“Russia wants balance. It wants a strategic balance with the US,” Ivan Safranchuk, a Moscow-based expert on defence, told the Guardian.
Yeah right. More like “Russia is kinda tired of being a bitch of a nation so they’re gonna start acting like big shots.” Still, the fact that we, the USA, haven’t really taken notice of this on a national scale is troubling to me. A large nation like Russia is actually starting to re-arm themselves with top notch aircraft and then equipping them with Nuclear Missiles? Why aren’t people paying attention to this?
They claim they are going to use the nuclear bombers as a means of “strategical deterrence” but who exactly are they trying to deter? China? Iran? The USA?
Why would they want to deter us? Did we do something to Russia that nobody but Putin knows about? What it looks like to me is that Putin is wanting to recreate the super power. Except this time he wants to take us out of the picture. They’ve already started claiming properties that clearly don’t belong to them (the arctic shelf) and they have begun flying bombers over british and american airspace. Sounds like the Kremilin is stirring and the bear is about to wake up.

Wanna know the really weird and creepy detail? The fact that I used the description in my last paragraph almost prophetically.
The MoD said in a statement: “RAF Typhoons from Numbers 3(F) and XI Squadrons launched to shadow a Russian Bear-H aircraft over the North Atlantic Ocean on Friday 17 August 2007.”
The type of jet isn’t just the creepy thing it’s the fact that it’s also labeled as a “bear” recon mission as well. There was speculation earlier but now the MoD has confirmed what people were fearing. Russia is gearing up for something and the world is just waiting patiently to find out what the sneaky russians have in store for everyone.
Must be some of the “deterrence” that Putin kept screaming about. Sounds to me that the man’s getting a bit big for his britches. Might need someone to give ole’ Vlad a time out.
Just awful news. Always keep the families of these brave soldiers in your prayers. All 14 were confirmed dead in the crash, but it doesn’t appear to be the result of enemy fire.
“Two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters were on a night operation when one of the aircraft crashed,” the military said.
“Initial indications are that the aircraft experienced a mechanical malfunction. There were no indications of hostile fire.”

Ever notice that every time someone offers some other type of reasonable explanation for something the left automatically goes in to offensive “destroy your life, job, family, reputation, etc, etc” mode? Well, it’s happened again and this time the attack has come from the transgender community of the left. The political correct machine that functions to designate how people speak, think, and live their lives just about ran a man out of a job because he criticized the PC explanation of the transgender lifestyle.
The liberal Politically correct “consensus” is that Transgenders are affected by a biological mistake and that Men were supposed to be Women and vice versa.
Bailey, the man who was harrassed, used his experience to describe the transgender lifestyle as a psychological function where the women/men have an erotic fascination of being the opposite sex. This actually makes more sense than the notion that there is a race of people that are born with some biological anomaly.
Why does the left and transgender crowd attack this? Because it labels them as what they are, which is psych-influenced perverts, and they don’t like facing the facts in that matter.
People may disagree with my own view of the matter (as expressed with the “pervert” comment above) however I have the God-Given right to express it, and Bailey also has the right to evaluate the evidence which he has studied which pretty much shows that transgender lifestyles are created from psychological backgrounds instead of biological ones. At least someone came to Bailey’s defense.
“What happened to Bailey is important, because the harassment was so extraordinarily bad and because it could happen to any researcher in the field,” said Alice Dreger, an ethics scholar and patients’ rights advocate at Northwestern who, after conducting a lengthy investigation of Dr. Bailey’s actions, has concluded that he is essentially blameless. “If we’re going to have research at all, then we’re going to have people saying unpopular things, and if this is what happens to them, then we’ve got problems not only for science but free expression itself.”
Wow, kinda sounds familiar doesn’t it? I believe this same type of attacks on critics are being performed against the scientists who are debunking the false science behind Global Warming. I wonder why the left and PC crowd is always so quick to attack critics of their beliefs….
