News – Al Gore encourages young people to protest, and nobody wants to listen anymore

August 17, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Nobody cares.

This is a message to Al Gore: “Nobody cares.

How much more flame spewing retard comments is he going to vomit out of his mouth before he figures out that nobody is really listening anymore? Sure, ok, he got peoples attention and tried to create hysteria with his propoganda film “An Inconvenient Truth” but after the critics finally shot that misinformative piece of garbage full of holes the American people (at least the ones with half a brain) stopped listening to some washed up politician scream about the end of the world.

He hasn’t figured it out so he’s stomping his feet like a little child and keeps uttering crazy phrases such as:

‘I can’t understand why there aren’t rings of young people blocking bulldozers,” Mr. Gore said, ”and preventing them from constructing coal-fired power plants.”

I can understand why and the answer is a simple one.

Nobody believes you anymore. The hockey stick graph was debunked, the NASA records were found faulty and are now debunked, The threat of the great atlantic jetstream slowing down? just DEBUNKED today. Turns out all these “strange occurances” that the Gorebot keeps harping on about ended up being “natural occurance” or what used to be referred to as “The Weather”

News – National Id plan raises privacy concerns

August 17, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

And rightfully so.

I’m all for identification and making sure that people are who they say they are but this type of “Mark of the Beast-ish” plan just doesn’t sit well with me. I’m all for security and being safe but I have a problem with giving up my right to privacy just so some government agency tells me too. They claim that the Real ID program is not a mandatory program but then Chertoff speaks out of the other side of his mouth and says there will be consequences.

Chertoff said there would be repercussions for states choosing not to comply.

“This is not a mandate,” Chertoff said. “A state doesn’t have to do this, but if the state doesn’t have — at the end of the day, at the end of the deadline — Real ID-compliant licenses then the state cannot expect that those licenses will be accepted for federal purposes.”

What does that mean? Well, the old licenses (like the ones you have now) wont be eligible for use in federal or government buildings. Perhaps say….a courthouse or something similar. Doesn’t effect you? Well, what about a polling station or voting precinct? Yeah, thats where they get you.

It’s more secure but it’s also more limiting and has the potentiality to give the government a greater sense of power and control. I’m thinking we need to start trying to enforce our laws already in place before we start creating new systems such as this.

Blog – Gorebot doesn’t bother with the details!

August 17, 2007 Aurvant 1 comment

Bryan points out the biggest detail in his little mini post.

Yes, thats right. According to Al Gore and his movie An inconvenient Truth he says that it is possible for a person to reduce their carbon footprint to zero. Which, as Bryan so eloquently points out, is impossible considering that every breath a person takes exhales carbon dioxide. That means for you to actually reduce your footprint to zero you would have to die.

This isn’t the first time that Gore has been called on about his statements in his propaganda film. He also claims that the temperature in this past millenia are the highest ever and that the oceans will rise like twenty something feet.

Twenty feet people. No wonder people were freaking out when watching this movie.

However, even the IPCC and their consensus “science” contradicted the Gorebots claims even citing that they seemed to be politically charged. The IPCC stated that the max rise of the oceans would be about 23 inches. Thats only 18 feet less than what Gore has said! Not to mention his temperature comment…..many global warming critics have pointed out the obvious trend of the “Medieval Warming Period” which showed that the average and high temperatures of the planet were much higher than they are now.

Couple all these idiotic comments together with a bogus action plan and then add a dash of hypocrisy and you’ve finally got a small smidgen of what the Gorebot is all about.

News – You can’t screw over the Pentagon

August 17, 2007 Aurvant 2 comments

These sisters tried and got pwnt

Granted they got paid before they got pwnt but they still have to go to jail now. So, how bad was the damage that the Pentagon incurred? Well, the sisters exploited a flaw in the Automated Defense Department Purchasing system and they began billing lavish amounts of money for tiny insignificant parts. How much you ask?

A small South Carolina parts supplier collected about $20.5 million over six years from the Pentagon for fraudulent shipping costs, including $998,798 for sending two 19-cent washers to an Army base in Texas, U.S. officials said.

The company also billed and was paid $455,009 to ship three machine screws costing $1.31 each to Marines in Habbaniyah, Iraq, and $293,451 to ship an 89-cent split washer to Patrick Air Force Base in Cape Canaveral, Florida, Pentagon records show.

Holy crap. They collected 20.5 million over six years? How do people miss that kind of cash flow? It boggles the mind it does. Well, the two sisters almost would have assuredly been caught in due time but they just got so aggressive about how they were billing the Pentagon that it started sending up red flags. Great news that they were finally caught.

How does this effect you? Well, you (the taxpayer) are funding the pentagon so that means YOU were technically being screwed over as well. Be angry and outraged because these two women were buying cars and taking long vacations at your expense.

News – Fed Reserve cuts discount rates by a half a point.

August 17, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Percentage point that is.

In normal terms that adds up to exactly “Jack” and “S**t” but when your talking about the kind of money the markets are throwing around it adds up to a whole LOT of money. Now, this only effects the symbolic discount rate so that means the rate that consumers pay still remain at 5.25%

I don’t know if Cramer will have another explosion after hearing this…heck….he might flip out in a good way this time, but considering the Fed only lowered the banks stress and not the consumers I seriously doubt it. Still, there was some good news out of this:

Stock futures, which were initially trading lower Friday following another wild day Thursday, surged higher following the Fed’s announcemen

Woo, stabilization folks. The market was bouncing back on it’s own thursday anyways but I guess the fed did something “just to be cautious.

News! – The US Census Bureau is retarded and wants us to stop Immigration raids.

August 17, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Click for whole article.

One question: WHY?!

Does that even make sense to anyone? The US Census bureau is actually asking immigration to stop raiding places that could possibly hold illegal aliens so they can “count” them?

The issue arises as the U.S. struggles to resolve the fate of an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants. After Congress failed to pass an immigration overhaul sought by the president, the Bush administration last week said it would step up efforts to enforce immigration laws.

One lawmaker said she thinks “it’s nuts” for the Census Bureau to ask for a break in enforcement.

“I don’t know what country the Census Bureau is living in,” Rep. Candice Miller, R-Mich., said in a telephone interview from her district. “I can tell them the American people have grown sick and tired of their immigration laws not being enforced. They are not going to tolerate enforcement being suspended for any amount of time.”

This is true. The American people HAVE grown sick of this illegal immigration problem. The Constitution DOES require that everyone. even illegals, be counted. However, it does not state that this number should come at the expense of enforcement. I imagine that the citizens of the US would like to hear that their border/immigration service was taking a “break” because someone wanted to count heads.

I have heard some stupid requests from government agencies before but the Census Bureau has just topped the list in a big way.

News – Update on Your Black Muslim Bakery crimes

August 17, 2007 Aurvant 1 comment

Thank God Michelle found out more on this one.

I had already covered this story before but it seems that it’s popping back up in the news again. In case you haven’t already been following this it involves the staffers of an establishment called “Your Black Muslim Bakery” (not real original are they?) and some of the people, if not all of them, are involved in the murder of a reporter who was writing a story on the establishment.

The criminally staffed bakery is now being shown to have been involved in Battery, Torture, Murder, and kidnapping. Looks like the place has quite a bit of a track record.  However, that part is old news….the NEW news is that some people are actually starting to come to the defense or aid to the tainted bakery.

Oakland Mayor Ron Dellums and U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee are not the only prominent East Bay politicians who, despite its tainted reputation, pledged support for Your Black Muslim Bakery by asking a bankruptcy judge not to dissolve the business to pay off creditors

Why would they support this place and try to keep it from being dissolved? I make a motion that the place be bulldozed immediately. Is there any good news coming out of this? Can we finally get justice?

Yusef Bey IV, his brother Joshua and another man were picked up in a police raid at the Your Black Muslim Bakery earlier this month. The raid happened one day after journalist Chauncey Bailey was murdered allegedly by a handyman at the bakery.

Bey and the others are charged with kidnapping a mother and her daughter last May. Bey was also charged with 12 counts of forgery connected to another case.

But Bey says he can’t afford a lawyer so one will be appointed to him. But since another defendant in the case is being represented by the Public Defender’s Office, a private attorney must be hired.

Ugh. So, that means the taxpayers (the ones whom these creeps have been hurting in more ways than one) are going to be responsible for defending him? Just dandy.
