Bravo! – The Speech CAIR tried to silence

It begins with a YAF speaker saying a few words and then Robert Spencer gets up and gives his speech. If the Video starts to skip your probably playing it faster than it’s downloading so its constantly starting and stopping, so allow the video to fully load before you try to watch it. If you remember I linked this story earlier. Here’s the first article that HotAir put up that I referenced last week. I believe that Jason Mattera holds the trophy last week for “Best Come Back Quote” and here it is:

I believe in terms of handling a situation that is what is rightfully called “Proper Action”
Ah! Here you are absolutely right! This video is “hot air” and based on total hatred and anti-Semitic type of comments. If you dare read the Bible, you will find the Christianity is “intolerant.” Apparently our site is the “zealous” site!
And if these “zealots” just read their Bibles, they would have found the following verses:

You do know what anti-semitic comments are, right? Well, maybe you don’t. First: watch the video again, and write down every negative reference the speaker makes toward the Jews. When you tally the references up, you should have a grand total of zero. Making such an incorrect statement to start off your post really blows your platform of credibility away.
I am not sure what your second argument is, aside from it being of the straw man variety. If the Bible says that Christians should brutally punish offenders of its laws and precepts, the Christians of America are quite obviously in violation. However, the video is not about pushing Christianity or the Christian agenda. It is about an organization that sponsors terror; namely, CAIR. The speaker in the movie is making an argument, whereby he asserts that CAIR is tied to terrorist activity. His quotes come from United States senators, amongst other reputable sources.
At any rate, if you want to make an argument, make one against the validity of the video speaker’s claims. Prove him wrong, by bringing forth evidence. Don’t arbitrarily come in here and run off on a tangent stating that Christianity is as barbaric as Islam. That isn’t what the thread is about.

Ignorance is bliss! Anti-Semitic statements were made against the Islamic Faith, being a religion that started in Arabia. In the event you never learned this, Arabs are also Semites! Surprised? That makes Arab Christians and Arab Muslims, along with Jews Semites. Look it up in the dictionary. Part two is something you are unaware of because you look at things superficially. The claim in the video was about Islam being an intolerant religion. Really? Do you see it now or do I have to spell it out for you that Christianity (or Judaism) then, in the eyes of any other faith is just as intolerant when reading the quoted verses I mentioned.

Again, you’re wrong. All Jews are Jews, but not all people who ascribe to Islam are Arabs. Therefore, the comments are not anti-semitic. To spell it out: the comments aren’t directed at a specific ethnicity, but towards a subset of a religious movement that promotes terror.
Listen to the video and note how the speaker distinguishes between peaceful Islam and radical Islam. He isn’t religion-bashing, or bashing at all, but pointing out the ways a group happens to be linked to terrorism.

By the way, which is more ignorant: assuming semitic refers to Jews (which, according to the dictionary, it does) or that every practitioner of Islam is semitic?
