Hostage situation – It’s just got worse, and worser!
UPDATE: Rescue attempt made? or not? or maybe? or bwuh?
Ironic that not just five minutes ago I was commenting on how someone needs to be sent in their to make an attempt to rescue them, but apparently Reuters has removed and recalled their story.
Please be advised that the Kabul datelined story reporting that an operation to rescue 21 Korean hostages held by the Taliban had begun is wrong. The official cited in the story did not make the comment reported. There will be no substitute story.
Bwuh!? None of this is making sense right now. How hard is it to send in a team to try and take back some hostages? I know people are trying to approach this delicately so that no more people are lost, but if nobody does anything they’ll all die anyways.
Like I said before…Muslims kinda kill people all the time. Why is this not being taken more seriously?
Thanks to Michelle for bringing this up.
Chosun does spotlight this, but Michelle has been pointing out the one detail that the MSM has failed to point out. The Hostages are Christians being held by the Taliban. However, the main network news casters refuse to let that little detail out amongst the public.
Why?
Because it’s a bunch of muslims killing christians. Again. That little bit of information doesn’t help the mainstream in trying to appease to the ravenous numbers of Islam. Now, of course, the world blames the US for them being hostages now. Some people are saying we aren’t doing enough while others are saying out actions in the middle east are sparking this. I have a more simple reason why Taliban militants are holding Christian believers hostage.
Because their religion dictates for them to do so. They believe that their God has ordained them as the leaders of the world that that other faiths must be destroyed. If your not familiar with Islam…well….they have a history of killing Christians, Jews, and then taking their lands. That’s kinda their thing.
Well, despite my disdain for the savage nature of our enemies, I am chained to be able to do nothing but watch as this whole thing unfolds. Hopefully a general will send in some special forces to retrieve these hostages before more of them die. I doubt it though…..the politics of America is so geared towards pacifism and appeasement that I’m willing to bet we’ll be making bargains with them before it’s all over.
Sickening.
I don’t even consider the Taliban as people. They are monsters. That’s why they’re called, Terrorists. They don’t need a reason to kill. To them, it doesn’t matter where you come from; the whole World is their enemy. And if that’s how they are going to exist, I would’ve nuke them years ago. I know very well that there’s likely a chance of innocent casualties involved, I would sacrifice them in order to put an end to their senseless acts. I know some of you might think after hearing that from me that I’m also a ‘monster’, well, I’m only fighting fire with a stronger fire. Look what the atomic bomb did to Japan. There were certainly innocent civilians that had nothing to do with the war, but didn’t it all end that moment? Didn’t they raised their white flag that day? So yes, these 2-bit scums have no other purpose but to kill and insignificant loss to the families of the hostages they’ve mercilessly killed. An atomic bomb (or even a nuclear one
) should be disposed upon them to give them a taste of their own medicine.
I have a feeling the Afghanistan govt. is involved in all this. Putting a facade pretending not to know it all. I mean wtf, it’s their country, how can they not know where these low-life scums are hiding? Its not like they work on a small no. of quantities, they work in large networks.
I feel really sad to the families of the hostages. They weren’t even part of the military who they think is ‘occupying’ their territory. Those Christians were there voluntarily for aid. They don’t carry arsenals but medical equipments.
One, part of the ability to think accurately (taken from Heinlein’s quote) is the ability to use the appropriate language. “Worser” is not the correct superlative.
Two, as Christians, how well does your writing and the opinions of your readers imitate Christ? Ever read Paul? Keep in mind all his warnings about what evil our mouths, tongues, and words are capable of.
Paul? The gentile apostle after my own heart. I have my own personal struggles each day, and the Lord is quite familiar with that they may be. My language is a reflection of my mood and I will admit that at times it isn’t befitting of someone such as myself.
However, That is my vice to bear. I need not be reminded of it.
As for the superlative “Worser” it was not meant to be taken as a serious exclamation, but as a use of exaggerated satire. Why would I use a satirical function in this post? Well, at the time the news stories were coming in faster than I could post them and I was trying to exemplify haste.
I’m not going to ever claim that my grammar is 100% spot on, but I can assure you that my way of thinking, as shrewd as it may seem some times, will always be accurate.
