Pantsu – Disturbing theft case of the month.

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Weirdest thing to steal and resale? Panties

A store in the Triangle Town Center in Raleigh reported nearly $20,000 in missing merchandise between March and June, while stores in Durham and Cary reported losses of almost $13,000 and $4,000, respectively.

I don’t know what i’m more shocked by really. Was it the fact that someone actually went in to a Victoria Secret store and stole lingerie and panties to resale later on, or is it the fact that someone stole up to 13,000 dollars worth of stuff. Not just stuff, but undergarments

The price tags must be ridiculous on those items. Still, I doubt it will be hard to catch the thief if they seriously go around and try to sale off frilly lingerie off the street. I’m pretty sure the hobo sporting a new nighty could point you in the right direction.

Technology – Look ma! No wheels!

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Looks like the flying UFO-based car has finally been created and will be available for commercial use.

I can’t help it, but the geek in me really digs this kind of stuff. Sailing along at 50 mph at about 10 feet off the ground with some prety responsive controls sounds like a blast to me. Granted I’m sure the accident policy on one of these things is ridiculous but at least I would die, or possibly be crippled, while loving every damn minute.

Oh Snapz!

Pew Pew Laser Beams?”

Regardless, I think it’s awesome.

Obama – No spine at all

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Well, I posted earlier today that he was showing some moxy claiming that he would invade Pakistan, but then he turned right around and pussed out by taking nuclear weapons off the table.

Come on! If your going to be President of the United States your going to have to commit to the notion that someone, if they provoke it, might possibly be atomized out of sheer necessity. Still, this does not bode well for Obama and because he continuously allows himself to be goaded in to these types of questions he will continuously be answering questions with conflicting points.

Just seems to me though that he can’t do anything but prove his ineptitude at leadership. I mean, if you aren’t willing to at least acknowledge the idea that one day you might be forced to use that football then you shouldn’t be the leader of the free world.

Ever.

Science – Oh God, Why?

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Obviously, God had nothing to do with this.

Now, I know quite a few jokes that I could have lined up right next to that picture, but thank the heavens that I wasn’t in charge of writing up the report on that one. I mean, what’s the point in that really? You bastardized a perfectly well off creature by adding more heads to it?

I vaguely recall an episode of South Park that involved a scientists that made multiple assed creatures

This is why we should seriously be looking in to what some of these “professionals” are spending their money on. Because if they are wasting time adding heads and asses to creatures that don’t need em’….well….let’s just say I don’t see the cure from cancer coming out of that disturbing creation.

R.Kelly – 5 years in the making

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

It’s about time this guy finally got to trial.

I would hope that this is an open and shut case. The information on this whole case has had time to sit and fester for a total of five years and pretty much everyone (and their proverbial brother) knows enough about the case to pretty much assume that it was, in fact, R. Kelly performing some seriously heinous stuff to a minor.

The trial was delayed, in part, by arguments over when the video was made. It was also pushed back because the judge fell and broke bones and needed to recuperate.

Ok, that timestamp argument was over years ago, but the judge had to recuperate from a fall that broke some bones? For five years? Did he “fall” or did somebody’s posse’s fists “fall” on his frail frame.

Must have been one hell of a flight of stairs. Either way, it’s good to see the justice system finally finding the time to try and pursue an indicted pervert.

Family Guy – New Star Wars spoof episode preview

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

The preview shows some pretty hilarious stuff. However, I wish the audience would die so I could hear. Big fan of The Family Guy even though Seth Macfarlene is a moonbat liberal. Still, proves I got a sense of humor.

Update: Youtube axed the video. Can’t seem to find another one either.

Intelligence – This kid doesn’t have any.

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Since when did we begin breeding a new race of pusstified wussies?

Bringing a gun to school? Come on now…..the kid should have known his butt would have been thrown in jail so fast that his head might literally spin off from the speed. To top it all off the kid ended up killing the principal which doesnt really make sense considering the kid said he brought the gun to “end the taunts”. Was the principal and faculty poking fun at the little moron? I highly doubt that.

Prosecutors must prove that Hainstock intended to kill Klang the moment he pulled the trigger. Hainstock’s attorneys asked the boy repeatedly if he meant to kill the principal.

“No, I didn’t,” Hainstock said. “I didn’t plan to hurt nobody.”

Sure you didn’t.

In a flat tone, Hainstock testified he transferred to Weston Schools as a sixth grader. The K-12 schools’ building sits in the countryside just outside Cazenovia, about 65 miles northwest of Madison.

Kids there stuck his head in the toilet, stuffed him in lockers, threw him in the bushes and called him names, he said.

So? What makes this kid any more special than any other kid that got a swirly or stuff in a locker. The kid just couldn’t handle it and all that did was prove he was weak. The kid brought the gun to school to try and be tough, but all he did was end up screwing up his whole future because he couldn’t stand up for himself.

Sorry, but the little brat needs to get life or at least 50 years without parole. That way he’ll be to old to have a life when he gets out.

Not Shocking – the French piss people off again.

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

This time the topic is genocide.

And not just any genocide but the old school “OMGWTFBBQ” Rwandan style of genocide. Frankly, i’m pretty disgusted that the appeals court let these two men, who were indicted under international courts for committing genocide, off the hook and let them roam free again. Under probation technically, but still….not in jail.

You would think that after nearly 14 years the Rwandans would see some justice being handed down after all the atrocities they had to go through, but leave it up to the French to make a moron move and piss off the world.

Damn French.

Penn & Chavez – Douchebags

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

And so Sean Penn just adds to the list of things I call “Reasons to be punched in the face really really hard”.

The guy just flies on down there to socialism central unannounced and then gets all chummy chummy with Chavez. Over the phone mind you, but the two are planning a meeting some time today.

“Welcome to Venezuela, Mr. Penn. What drives him is consciousness, the search for new paths,” Chavez said Wednesday in a televised speech. “He’s one of the greatest opponents of the Iraq invasion.”

He’s also a pretty big asshole too. I hear that he has a record of punching people in the face.

Chavez said the two plan to meet Thursday. He called the actor “well-informed about what is happening in the United States and the world, in spite of being in Hollywood.”

Well-informed? Well, Chavez is so self-enamored that he can’t discern drivel from actual coherent thought, but then again he shares the same world views as Penn. I’m actually hoping that Penn likes it so much down there he doesn’t ever come back.

Delayed reaction – I hate Harry Potter

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

No link. No story. I just wanted to say that.

The one redeeming quality of that mess of literature is that it provoked children to read. I can at least thank that shriveled pagan for doing something right. Even though her characters be bland and flat she did manage to spark a generation to pick up a book once again and do something that might actually make them smarter.

Read.

However, I then blame her for filling the opportunity with “make-it-up-as-I-go-with-no-real-rules-applied” plot elements that end up just being convoluted in the end.

Oh, and for you fans. He doesn’t die. Hope I ruined it for you.

A friend of mine got invited to Otakuthon in Montreal. He’s with the small performing group of Boxed Rice Productions and he truly enjoys his cosplay performances.

If anyone of you anime-riddled mind freaks decide to go to Otakuthon do please check out their performances. Point and laugh if you have too, but be warned. His icy stare has been known to turn hearts to stone.

Hostage situation – It’s just got worse, and worser!

August 2, 2007 Aurvant 3 comments

UPDATE:  Rescue attempt made? or not? or maybe? or bwuh?

Thanks again to Michelle

Ironic that not just five minutes ago I was commenting on how someone needs to be sent in their to make an attempt to rescue them, but apparently Reuters has removed and recalled their story.

Please be advised that the Kabul datelined story reporting that an operation to rescue 21 Korean hostages held by the Taliban had begun is wrong. The official cited in the story did not make the comment reported. There will be no substitute story.

Bwuh!? None of this is making sense right now. How hard is it to send in a team to try and take back some hostages? I know people are trying to approach this delicately so that no more people are lost, but if nobody does anything they’ll all die anyways.

Like I said before…Muslims kinda kill people all the time. Why is this not being taken more seriously?

Thanks to Michelle for bringing this up.

Chosun does spotlight this, but Michelle has been pointing out the one detail that the MSM has failed to point out. The Hostages are Christians being held by the Taliban. However, the main network news casters refuse to let that little detail out amongst the public.

Why?

Because it’s a bunch of muslims killing christians. Again. That little bit of information doesn’t help the mainstream in trying to appease to the ravenous numbers of Islam. Now, of course, the world blames the US for them being hostages now. Some people are saying we aren’t doing enough while others are saying out actions in the middle east are sparking this. I have a more simple reason why Taliban militants are holding Christian believers hostage.

Because their religion dictates for them to do so. They believe that their God has ordained them as the leaders of the world that that other faiths must be destroyed. If your not familiar with Islam…well….they have a history of killing Christians, Jews, and then taking their lands. That’s kinda their thing.

Well, despite my disdain for the savage nature of our enemies, I am chained to be able to do nothing but watch as this whole thing unfolds. Hopefully a general will send in some special forces to retrieve these hostages before more of them die. I doubt it though…..the politics of America is so geared towards pacifism and appeasement that I’m willing to bet we’ll be making bargains with them before it’s all over.

Sickening.

Embarassment – I denounce thee!

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Seriously, I denounce him.

Dan’s right. When you go out and do some sick, crazy, idiotic, and gross crap like this fool did…..all bets are off. The guy, who was a Christian deejay and baptist minister, is obviously going to regret the vodka/oxycoton cocktail he had that morning. Note: I said was a Christian deejay and baptist minister.

He is no longer. That I can assure you.

Things like this really piss me off. Not just because it was some effin’ moron out there making an ass of himself to the entire public, but because he is supposed to be a Christian. I understand that Christians are supposed to be pure, moral, and clean when it comes to how they act.

All this does is give the church a bad name. Hopefully the guy gets some help, but he doesn’t need to be behind a pulpit anytime soon.

Popculture – The Crazy gets crazier

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Apparently the talentless ex-pop star is going around making death threats

Then again I’d probably be ready to violently beat anyone if they followed and documented my every waking moment. However, I don’t really feel sorry for Ms. Spears and her ilk. They wanted this publicity and stardom from the beginning but in the end they just get crushed under the weight of their own created world. Shaving her head, attacking people with umbrella’s, and now threatening to kill peeping paparazzi.

Settle down ladies, settle down.

Still, Spears is having a better week than Ms. Lohan. That actress is circling the drain faster than anything I have ever seen before.  Coke, drinking, reckless driving…..oh how the young just try to die young these days. Not to mention her movie “I know who killed me” sucked worse than the vacuum of space.

Lame joke. Sorry.

China – What the hell man?!

August 2, 2007 Aurvant 1 comment

I don’t have a specific story to link to.

Why?

Because CNN has like thousands of reasons on site on why nobody should buy anything from China.

Ok, maybe not thousands but the number sounds dramatic doesn’t it. The reason I am linking all of those stories is because I just heard today that Fisher Price is recalling dozens of toy product lines that were imported from China because of paint that may be contaminated with Lead. Now, we heard a few weeks or so back about toy trains and other toy lines that were hit with the same problem. However, they were small brand names.

This is Fisher Price. If you have a baby, toddler, small child, whatever…..chances are you have a toy that says Fisher Price on it. The safety of your children should be top priority so stuff like this should be getting people outraged. How much longer are we going to let the Chinese poison everyone? How many more people have to eat mercury-ridden fish, brush with contaminated toothpaste, or lose pets to poisonous petfood products?

Now we have Potentially poisonous TOYS for God’s sake. Does China try to change their processing to stop the exposure to hazardous chemicals and products? No, they kill a man instead.

I probably would have preferred jail time and then replacement, but no….they just shot the dude and those bad products keep a rollin’ on in here.

Russia – In ur Arctic, claimin ur lands

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Well, technically under international law nobody owns this bit of land

However, Russia just decided to sail the hell up there and drop a flag down in the ice shelf. They claim that the land is part of the same continental shelf as Russia’s lands are and that they own it. Funny, that this comes up without much fanfare from anyone considering the Arctic circle is one of the richest areas on the planet for Natural resources. Gases, Oil, and supposedly Gold.

I would think that a country that has a long history of nefarious action would be watched more closely, or possibly delayed from making such assertions of international open lands. However, nobody seemed to have cared that the former Soviet Union just waltzed the hell up there and said “Ours now bitches”

I would like to have seen someone raise their hand and ask “Since when?”

O.J. Simpson – The bumbling fool gets cranked

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

He just can’t figure out why people think he is guilty.

It may have been all that mounting evidence that was brought against him back during the trial. However, his post-trial days have done nothing but raise the speculation even further. In fact, OJ simpson might be the only person in the world convinced that he didn’t kill two people in one night.

Damn Cochran and his Chewbacca defense!

Either way. It’s kinda funny to watch him squirm in uncomfortable mumbles after the people constantly barrage him with questions about the murder.

Watch for chuckles.

PS3 sales continuing to rise

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

For the third straight week in a row the PS3 sales have exceeded the 40k mark per week. According the VGchartz the PS3 has now begun to outsell the the Xbox360, per week, world wide.

the PS3 has a long way to go to close the gap and considering the pricetag has always been hefty it will still be a slow roll towards total success. However, with constant RROD issues, even in the Elite models, The XB360 is suffering major defect issues even with the new Heatsink being installed to supposedly stop the malfunction.

Consumers and techies alike are blaming the poor soldering and power supply for the defect, but Microsoft is ignoring this cry and trying to claim that surge protectors and lack of proper cooling it the issue.

Either way, the news doesn’t bode well for Xbox360 fans who hate Sony with a passion. However, for Sony supporters this increase in sales shows that the PS3 is finally gaining some momentum.

CAIR – Outraged! What else is new?

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

Michelle sums this up pretty darn well.

What can I say? The comment at the bottom in Spencer’s response is absolutely phenomenal. The YAF and Spencer refuse to be bullied by a bunch of self-righteous thugs and by GOD it’s about time somebody was willing to stand up to them.

None of this is really new, but it does mark another time where CAIR tried to bully someone but they didn’t take their crap. Lets look at a few lists of times that CAIR was outraged about something.

Do they do anything other than bitch and moan? Doesn’t seem that way. Besides, they only complain about people who try to portray Islam as it actually is: Intolerant, Fanatical, and Breeds Hate.

Looks to me like they are trying to cover the truth up in outrage.

Obama – Invade Pakistan?

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

I really really don’t like Barack Obama but it seems the kid’s got some stones.

Albeit they are some pretty misguided and naive stones, but at least the guy’s showing some initiative as far as wanting to use our military. I’m pretty much all for sacking up a bunch of miscreants in the middle east (Lord knows it’s full of em) but I just think Obama is jumping the gun on this one.

Obama said that as commander in chief he would remove troops from Iraq and putting them “on the right battlefield in Afghanistan and Pakistan.” He said he would send at least two more brigades to Afghanistan and increase nonmilitary aid to the country by $1 billion.

Soooo…..He want’s to send all the troops we have now in Iraq TO Afghanistan and Pakistan plus two more brigades? Then he wants to spend a billion more dollars in nonmilitary aid than we are spending now? I thought the democrats were all Anti-war, for “bringin’ the troops home!”, and all up in arms about invading countries, but as you can clearly see Obama is talking about increasing military might in the middle east AND invading another country.

Hypocrite? probably. He’s also a certifiable idiot for going out and saying this too. Not only is he showing how naive he is by saying something like this but he also contradicts himself in the same speech.

“He confuses our mission,” Obama said, then he spread responsibility to lawmakers like Clinton who voted for the invasion. “By refusing to end the war in Iraq, President Bush is giving the terrorists what they really want, and what the Congress voted to give them in 2002: a U.S. occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences.”

Really? How is that any different than what he is also proposing. There isn’t any proof that Bin Laden is holed up in Pakistan. We just assume, based on educated guesses, that he might be. Not to mention the US military just up and saying “We’re done with Iraq now….Here’s lookin’ at you Pakistan” isn’t exactly going to help our image over there.

Not like we should really care what a bunch of murderous fantics think of us, but you know….for diplomacy’s sake. Besides, his own plan has no determinable consequence, no determinable cost or length. He isn’t proposing anything different than what the Bush administration is doing in Iraq. He just wants to change the battlefield.

Bridge Collapse – Minneapolis

August 2, 2007 Aurvant Leave a comment

This is absolutely terrible.

What’s really sad is that the I-35W bridge was inspected in both 2005 -and- 2006.

Pawlenty said the bridge was inspected by the Minnesota Department of Transportation in 2005 and 2006 and that no structural problems were noted. “There were some minor things that needed attention,” he said.

Clearly.

I could go on for quite a few more paragraphs on how the people in charge of keeping up roadways and inspecting bridges dropped the ball here, but that would be moot at the moment. The bridge was undergoing extensive surface rework and witnesses said they heard jackhammers before the bridge fell, so it seems the city was performing some maintenance on the bridge at the time of it’s collapse.

Still, Please remember the families and those who have lost anyone in this disaster.
